Colt was named about 15 minutes after his older brother Remi was born, even though Colt would not be born for another 20 months. Although our fifth-born son, Colt was our third-born on Texan soil. The prophetic meaning of his name is associated with the story in the Bible about the last week of Jesus before He gave His life for us. The Scripture says that He rode into Jerusalem on a colt, the foal of a donkey. In the same way, our Colt will carry the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ everywhere he goes, and he will do so valiantly. He is a delightful little person with a very meek and gentle spirit. He really reminds us of Tiny Tim from The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Colt is very proud of his green eyes that make him look like his big brother Magnum.
